The Rhythm of Life

The Rhythm of Life is a unit from the Kath Murdoch book "Knowing Me, Knowing You'.

Since this book is fairly old, some of the resources are difficult to obtain.

Jyoti, a film from Film Australia made in 1978, should still be available from the National Film and Sound Archive, but may be quite out of date.

There are some YouTube videos that are much more recent and show life in Indian towns and villages - not necessarily representative of urban India of course! Here are some examples that seem to be worthwile:
